Alpha
Alpha is a rubber substance created from recycled materials, which collects gasoline, diesel fuel and oil. It consists of raw rubber processed to a specific consistency and size, which creates a protective barrier or seal. The seal prevents seepage of the spilled substance from making contact with the ground. In addition to its absorption capability, it is an effective odor and fume regulator.
In its loose form, Alpha is injected onto a spill area to absorb it from the surface. In its encased form, a clump-like texture forms in the Alpha product upon contamination. This texture is indicative of contaminant absorption and can be rid of by applying additional Alpha product to revert to its original state.
