Spill Response
ESSI provides a number of response mechanisms for controlling spills and minimizing their impacts on human health and the environment. The key to effectively combat spills is careful selection and proper use of the equipment and materials best suited to the conditions at the spill site.
Spill Containment
When a spill occurs, principal ESSI personnel and products are deployed to the spill site to isolate the spill and prevent it from spreading to unaffected areas. Once on location, ESSI trained individuals assist in minimizing contaminant* saturation. ESSI uses mechanical methods to contain and store the spilled substance until it can be properly reused or recycled.
Recovery from Water
After several years of research and development, ESSI has discovered a system that recovers spilled contaminants* from water. ESSI enables swift and effective recovery of the contaminant* from bodies of water and offers water filtration systems.
Bodies of Water
ESSI systems require an inflatable boom, which is deployed to encase the contaminated area. Once the boom is secured, ESSI disperses product within the boundaries of the boom, enabling the absorption of the spilled contaminant*. Once saturated, contaminated ESSI products are easily retrieved from the surface of the water and processed for reuse or recycling.
Water Filtration
ESSI provides custom-made water filtration systems according to client specifications and configurations.
For large bodies of water, contaminated water is retrieved and filtered through the ESSI system. Once passed through the system, the water is directly re-circulated back to its source.
PLEASE NOTE: ESSI filtration systems are NOT water purifiers
